Bibhitaki or Vibhitaki [Terminalia Bellerica] is a large deciduous tree that can be seen throughout India. It is also called Baheda in the Hindi language. This is one of the three ingredients of Triphala Amalaki Vibhitaki Haritaki which is a very famous medicinal combination to treat most diseases. This combination is frequently used in the preparation of many Ayurvedic formulations.

Vibhitaki Word is made of the Sanskrit word Vibheeta, which means The fruit which can eliminate the fear of disease.
